Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is a game that allows you to do a lot of unique things, including poisoning your enemies. This is one of the many options you can utilize in fights, but it’s slightly more complex because you need to know how to use it properly.

Not everyone knows how the poison works and how to get it, so we will show you all the steps. Don’t forget to check our other Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 guides if you are new to the game.

Finding Poison in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

A book about poison in KCD2

Before taking a look at the Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 poison recipe, you should know that the game offers three options:

  • Bane Poison - This will affect the target’s health and make it unable to run.
  • Dollmaker Poison - When used, this poison will make the target unable to run, reduce its HP, and weapon the weapon skills.
  • Lullaby Poison - This will lower your opponent’s perception and reduce the energy levels to 0.

Before you learn how to poison someone, you need to know where to find the specific poison. From our experience, the first place that you will usually find something is near Trosky Castle (close to where you go to the woods). This is the place where you should find the Herbalist Barnaby.

Once here, the NPC will let you buy different Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 poison potion recipes or the poison itself. You can also find the specific resources needed to create your own potion. What’s important to know, however, is that Barnaby does not have strong versions of the specific poisons. In other words, if you decide to deal with Johnny the Gob or use the poison for other essential tasks, you will probably need to create a stronger version yourself.

Using Poison on an Enemy In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Whether you want to overcome Johnny the Gob, Tomcat, or someone else, you need to know how to use your poison. Currently, you can use a couple of techniques when you want to poison someone. One is the Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 poison arrow or coating any other weapon with it. Aside from that, you can also pour the poison into food.

Even though the second variation seems interesting, coating your weapon works better. This is especially true when you do that with your arrow because it will guarantee you will eliminate someone even if that target survives the initial attack.
