Tirion with Chimaera
Important talents
Corrosive Breath on Chimaera and Infectious Swipes on Harpies are your main source of damage.
Strategy
- Send Chimaera and/or Harpies towards the right
- As Falstad approaches them, turn it around with Earth Elemental or Quilboar
- You may need to work on the timing to avoid traps and get Falstad to target your tank
- If your push does not kill Falstad, defend your base, and try again when Falstad approaches your base from the top
- Optionally, grab the chests in the middle with an Unbound mini

Other minis and map mechanics
Falstad flies around the map in an 8-shaped pattern. As a flying boss, it cannot be attacked by melee minis.
In Heroic, Falstad spawns traps ahead of him as he approaches five preset locations around the map. When your mini touches a trap, the trap despawns and releases a Chain Lightning with the Storm’s Reach talent.
When Falstad reaches an active, untriggered trap, he adds another level to its Chain Lightning effect.
Falstad attacks by throwing his hammer, which has a bounce effect identical to Chain Lightning.
General strategy
Falstad flies quite close to your base, so you have an excellent opportunity to ambush him as he flies by. Be wary of the traps and either proc them before any vulnerable minis get close or stop Falstad before he summons them.
Unbound tanks, Earth Elemental and Quilboar, are excellent for turning Falstad around so that you can send damage dealers from your base. Chimaera and Harpies are particularly good.
You can either repeat the attack multiple times as Falstad approaches your base from the right or from the top, or go all in on the first round with the help of Cheat Death.
Either way, you are interested in taking the chests in the middle with an Unbound mini, if an opportunity presents itself.
If you go for a longer fight, you will also need some minis that can defend your base from Falstad’s units.
