Blingtron’s Bounties is a simple solo event in Warcraft Rumble where the main focus is on completing daily challenges to win battles with different types of minis in your army. Completing challenges gives you Shinies that you can spend to redeem rewards from the event reward tree.
Battles are all types of content: campaign, quests, PvP, dungeons, even previously completed Heroic bosses! This makes early Heroics an excellent place to quickly complete your daily challenges.
Heroic King Bangalash in Stranglethorn Vale, for example, can be taken down in a matter of moments simply by deploying Whelp Eggs on one side, letting Bangalash swipe them open, and deploying a Quilboar on the other side to tank just as Bangalash is swinging at the Eggs.
Blingtron’s Bounties Reward Tree (February 19 event)
Reward tree details:
- The full reward tree costs 10,000 Shinies
- All Coins from the tree cost 5,600 Shinies.
- You can earn 5,200 Shinies from the Daily and Weekly challenges
- You also get 500 Shinies for each Daily Offer that you buy with Coins during the event
- 10 Daily Offers and all challenges are enough to redeem the entire reward tree
The available rewards are:
- 1100 Coins (1650 if you have the Arclight Booster)
- 4 Troop Choices
- 3 Star Tomes
The conversion rate for leftover tickets to Arc Energy in Blingtron’s Bounties is 2:1. This means that 10 Shinies are worth 1 Coin in the conversion. The rewards in the reward tree are worth around three Shinies per Coin, so you still want to buy things from the tree first. Most things are of a similar cost, so you can proceed depending on whether you want Coins or Stars, or both.
Daily Offer bug
The Daily Offer tickets have been bugged for some time and are bugged at the start of this event as well.
When you claim a Daily Offer with Coins, you are not immediately awarded the tickets. The tickets are only added to your ticket count when your ticket total is updated: when you either earn more tickets by claiming an event challenge or when you buy a reward from the event reward tree.
Note that there is no animation acknowledging the additional tickets, they just appear.
This bug can be a problem on the last day of the event if you claim a Daily Offer and have no challenges left to claim. In that case, you cannot get your tickets.
There also appears to be another bug specific to this event: you get 500 tickets from Daily Offers instead of the 200 that you are supposed to get. This makes Daily Offers extremely attractive: buying a 60-Coin Daily Offer gives you 125-250 Coins worth of rewards from the reward tree, pure net profit. Even letting the tickets convert to Arc Energy is quite good, as you get 250 Arc Energy (worth 50 Coins) for each Daily Offer you buy.
