Gate to the Darkmoon Faire

Darkmoon Faire is a small periodic event in Warcraft Rumble where you gain rewards by completing daily and weekly challenges. In Darkmoon Faire, the weekly challenges completed by your guildmates also contribute to your progress.

This guide shows the details and the best path through the reward tree for Darkmoon Faire from Wednesday, February 26, 2025 to Wednesday, March 5, 2025.

Challenges and Tickets

You earn 8,000 tickets from your Weekly Challenge, and up to 25,200 tickets from Daily Challenges (3 Daily Challenges worth 1,200 Tickets each for 7 days). Therefore, you can earn up to 33,200 tickets by yourself.

You also get 25% of the Weekly Challenge tickets earned by anyone in your guild. For a full 20-person guild, this means that you can get another 38,000 tickets from your guildmates.

Some iterations of Darkmoon Faire have included tickets from buying Daily Offers, but this time, Daily Offers do NOT provide any tickets.

This means that the maximum number of tickets that can be earned by a 20-person guild is 71,200.

Many Darkmoon Faire challenges are based on winning battles with a specific type of mini. PvP, campaign missions, quests, and dungeons all count as battles. Already completed Heroic campaign missions also count as battles, and usually the fastest way to complete challenges is to go into an easy low-level Heroic for your wins.

King Bangalash in Stranglethorn Vale is an excellent mission for completing challenges because dropping Whelp Eggs next to it followed by a Quilboar can beat the boss very quickly once you outlevel the encounter.

Alt Accounts for More Tickets

You can earn more Darkmoon Faire tickets if you use multiple accounts. Tickets are contributed to the guild whenever an account in the guild claims a Weekly Challenge.

You can open a slot in the guild and cycle alt accounts into that slot, claim their completed Weekly Challenge, have them leave the guild, and cycle in the next one. Each account provides 2,000 tickets to the 19 other accounts in the guild. Events are unlocked for an account at 22 Sigils, which is the minimum progress level needed to contribute.

This is currently the only way to earn more than 71,200 tickets.

The Reward Tree

The optimal path through the Darkmoon Faire Reward tree in January 2025

Full reward tree cost: 133,700 tickets (not possible to reach without extensive use of alt accounts)

Available rewards:

  • 4 Modest Tomes
  • 7 Major Tomes
  • 1 Mega Tome
  • 1350 Coins (2025 with Arclight Booster)
  • 4000 Arc Energy
  • 2 Leader Choices
  • 2 Troop Choices
  • Epic Core

The optimal path through the tree depends on your goals. Coins are typically the most flexible rewards, so they are a high priority. Because you cannot get the full tree, you may also consider skipping some of the Coins for the Epic Core, if you are at the level of progression where Epic Cores are limiting your upgrades.

You can get all the Coins for 45,000 tickets by following the blue paths. If you are not in a guild, you can reach only one of the two large Coin pouches on the bottom row.

For another 32,200 tickets, you can pick up the Epic Core by following the green path. This brings the total cost to 77,200 tickets, slightly higher than the 71,200 tickets that can be earned by a 20-person guild. You can skip one of the Coin pouches on the bottom row for the Epic Core, use some alt accounts to fill the gap, or just go for full Coins and not the Epic Core.
