Tier Sets
Season 2 Enhancement Shaman Tier Set Bonus:
- (2) Set Bonus: Your spells and abilities have a chance to activate a Winning Streak! increasing the damage of your Stormstrike, Lava Lash, and Doom Winds by 5%, up to 25%. Stormstrike and Lava Lash have a 8% chance to remove Winning Streak!
- (4) Set Bonus: When you lose your Winning Streak! the winds shift into Doom Winds for 4 seconds. When Doom Winds deals damage, your next Crash Lightning deals 20% increased damage, up to 100%. This effect can be stored up to 10 stacks. Additionally, Crash Lightning deals 50% more damage to your main target.
This set bonus is pretty underwhelming in single target, but paired with the buffs to Crash Lightning and Windfury Weapon very strong in AoE situations.

Trinkets
When playing Enhancement, generally you are looking for on-use trinkets to pair with your burst and passive stat sticks, because we scale very well with them and we don’t amplify damage effects tied to items, like some other specs would.
After the relatively disappointing raid trinkets from season 1, Blizzard has made some of the season 2 raid trinkets much more compelling, providing us very strong options from Liberation of Undermine:
Eye of Kezan is, no contest, the best trinket for raiding. However, it takes 4 minutes to fully stack up and rapidly loses stacks when you leave combat, which means that it is not very useful in shorter encounters or Mythic+.
House of Cards is a strong on-use Mastery boost and can be paired with your burst in both talent builds. Pair it with Primordial Wave when playing Totemic and with Ascendance when playing Stormkeeper.
Reverb Radio is a great passive option, providing you with one of your most desired stats.
The season 2 dungeon set also has some strong trinkets in store for us:
Signet of the Priory from Priory of the Second Flame is another great on-use trinket to be paired with your burst. Pair it with Doom Winds when playing Totemic and with Ascendance when playing Stormkeeper.
Improvised Seaforium Pacemaker from Operation: Floodgate is a slightly unconventional passive trinket, providing you a very short, strong surge of Crit like an on-use trinket would. If fight timers allow you to keep your cooldowns synced to it, this trinket is fantastic. However, if you are forced to desync your cooldowns from it, then other passive options will probably be better.
Azerokk's Resonating Heart from Motherlode is another passive option that you can easily farm if you are unable to obtain a Reverb Radio.
Lastly, Mechano-Core Amplifier, Suspicious Energy Drink, Shadowbinding Ritual Knife, Quickwick Candlestick, and Spelunker’s Waning Candle are great options from Delves, but since they are not available in higher item levels they will eventually fall behind.
Embellishments
Right now the only Embellishments of note are the Darkmoon Sigils, which can only be put on weapons. As such, you will want to craft a weapon and put Darkmoon Sigil: Ascendance on it. For your second embellishment craft another low stat budget armor item such as cloak or bracers with Writhing Armor Banding.
Cyrce’s Circlet
This new addition to 11.0.7 has been buffed last minute and will stay relevant in season 2 until you acquire Mythic item level gear.
Socket the following gems, now that the Legendary Skipper’s Citrine has been nerfed:
- Stormbringer’s Runed Citrine
- Fathomdweller’s Runed Citrine
- Windsinger’s Runed Citrine Citrine
Don’t bother with any of the other gems.
