Season 4 will include new item level upgrades available from Awakened Raids and the Mythic+. The original 8 Dragonflight dungeons will be the Season 4 Mythic+ dungeon pool and Awakened Raids will empower the difficulty and loot rewarded of 1 Dragonflight Raid per week, rotating each week.
With different dungeons in rotation and all 3 Dragonflight raids being available (when Awakened), the choice for which Trinkets you want to collect increased. That's why we have collected all Mythic+ and Awakened Raid trinkets, to layout all of your options and help you target which dungeon or raid you need for each Trinket.
Mythic+ Trinkets
Defensive Trinkets
Tanks will have plenty of options for a more offensive playstyle, but the defensiveness of the Treemounth's Festering Splinter cannot be underestimated.
These are the defensive Trinkets available from Mythic+ in Season 4.
Name | Drops from | Stats | Type |
---|---|---|---|
Treemouth's Festering Splinter | Brackenhide Hollow | Agility / Strength | On-Use |
Burgeoning Seed | Azure Vault | Agility / Strength | On-Use |
Inexorable Resonator | Uldaman: Legacy of Tyr | Agility / Strength | Passive |
Granyth's Enduring Scale | The Nokhud Offensive | Agility / Strength | On-Use |
Despite Dawn of the Infinite not being in the Mythic+ dungeon list in Season 4, we think the Prophetic Stonescales deserves an honorable mention. Since we will be able to run the dungeon on the Mythic 0 difficulty, even though the item level gap will be massive for a regular 528 trinket, the "cheat death" effect is just too powerful to not be considered an option.
Healer Trinkets
Below are all the Season 4 Mythic+ trinkets that either provide some survivability to the group, or straight up only work with healing spells.
The strongest for sure is the Emerald Coach's Whistle, if you are willing to sacrifice a trinket slot to buff others, then it will be a powerful option for your group to use it on a DPS player; especially on a class that benefits from a Mastery proc, such as Destruction Warlocks, Shadow Priests, Arms Warriors and Havoc Demon Hunters. Keep in mind that you get the buff as well, so if your healer spec already likes Mastery, it could be even better for more organized content.

Raid Trinkets
The Awakened Raids are a centerpiece for Season 4, since we are going to be able to use any trinket combination from the expansion so far!
All 3 Dragonflight Raids will become Awakened, starting with Vault of the Incarnates when Season 4 releases, then rotating weekly between the raids in the order they were released in. When Awakened, that raid's loot will be at Season 4 item level, so you will only want to enter that Raid when it is Awakened to acquire any of the Trinkets listed below.
With many exciting options, notably the Manic Grieftorch, Augury of the Primal Flame and Dragonfire Bomb Dispenser, it will be really interesting to see how some of those combos will perform.
Special Class Trinkets (Neltharion Trinkets)
An extra bonus from having all the trinkets back is that the class-specific trinkets from the Echo of Neltharion encounter in Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible have returned! Following the same structure as last time, being Very Rare items, they will be in a higher item level than everything else in the game, making them a very powerful option.
Name | Item Level | Drops from | Stats | Type | Classes |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Neltharion's Call to Chaos | 535 | Echo of Neltharion | Critical Strike | Passive | Warrior, Paladin, Mage, Demon Hunter and Evoker |

Defensive Trinkets
There are also lots of defensive options, ranging from the versatile Ward of Faceless Ire, being either a defensive for you or for someone in your party, to the powerful Fyrakk's Tainted Rageheart; with both notably being very useful for higher end content due to the increase in one-shot mechanics.

Decoration of Flame | Eranog | Agility / Strength | On-Use |
All-Totem of the Master | Kurog Grimtotem | Agility / Strength | Passive |

Healer Trinkets
Healer's definitely didn't draw the shorter end of the stick here, since the powerful Broodkeeper's Promise and Rashok's Molten Heart are both back in the table in Season 4. Even with the nerfs on the mana regeneration portion of Rashok's, they are still incredible options for helping you and your friends survive the challenges you face this Season.

Conjured Chillglobe | The Primal Council | Intellect | On-Use |
Broodkeeper's Promise | Broodkeeper Diurna | Intellect | Passive |

DPS Trinkets
This is for sure the biggest array of options on this page, ranging from powerful active choices such as the Storm-Eater's Boon and the Beacon to the Beyond, to very interesting effects making a come back and maybe even more niche Trinkets that shine in certain situations, like the Iceblood Deathsnare trinket.
