Shimmermist Runner
Mischievous spriggans and the valerunners have a natural enmity. No valerunner would deign to allow a spriggan rider because they can sense their inherent malevolence. This angers the trickster spriggans who take twisted enjoyment in playing cruel pranks on these majestic creatures.
How to get the Shimmermist Runner Mount
The Shimmermist Runner is a beautiful horse mount found in the Ardenweald area of the Shadowlands.
This mount is very easy to get, as it doesn’t involve any reputation or grind of any sort, all you have to do is solve the maze, and defeat the Shimmermist captor, Shizgher.
The entrance of the maze is located in the Westmost area of Ardenweald, in Root-Home. You can get the flight path from Oribos, the main city hub for the expansion, to here directly.
The Maze is full of enemies, they are between level 60 and 62, so if your character is at max level you should have no problems dealing with them, if they aggro on you at all, and the Maze is fully open. The trick here is, you can only interact with Shizgher if you do a specific path through the maze.
Don’t worry if you miss one turn, you just have to go back to the starting point and the puzzle will be reset and you can try again.

The entrance to the maze is shown on the images above, located on the right hand side of the maze area (towards the middle of Ardenweald).
Enter the maze through the twisting branch archway and run down the path until you reach the first set of openings.

In the first opening, you should turn left.
/way 30.02, 57.49 Right
In the second opening, there are only two options, and you should go to the right.

After going slightly down the hill, you take a left turn.

On this next big area, you take the opening in the rightmost side.

Going down the slope, you should pretty much continue running forward, taking the gate on the Right to the next area.

The final turn should be pretty easy, as you can see the rare already. Keep in mind that if you missed any turns before Shizgher will despawn as soon as you enter the main area, but if you followed the path through the maze correctly, you should be able to interact with the rare.
If the rare does despawn, don't worry, fly or run back to the beginning of the maze and start again, following the guide carefully to avoid making a wrong turn.
After you defeat Shizgher, you can interact with the Shimmermist Runner and get your pretty unicorn mount!
