Slyverns are rarely comfortable acting as mounts. Only those willing to feed their gluttonous appetites and keep a careful eye on them should attempt to ride.
How to get the Temperamental Skyclaw Mount
The Temperamental Skyclaw is a flying fox mount released in Dragonflight. To obtain this mount you will need to collect 3 stacks of different items and trade them with an NPC named Zon’Wogi.
Gathering the needed items
These are the items that you will need to trade to Zon’Wogi in exchange for the Temperamental Skyclaw mount:
- 20x Flash Frozen Meat
- 20x Gnolan’s House Special
- 20x Tuskarr Jerky
These items have a low drop chance from gnoll mobs in the Azure Span, but can all be purchased on the Auction House.
Flash Frozen Meat is dropped by the gnolls at the icy part of Camp Nowhere.
Gnolan’s House Special is obtained from the gnolls in the un-instanced version of Brackenhide Hollow, a good farming spot for this is the Brackenhide Waterhole.
Tuskarr Jerky drops from the Darkhide Gnolls located at the gnoll encampment north of the Azure Archives (34.82, 45.33).
Speak to Zon’Wogi

Once these 3 stacks of items are obtained, you are just 1 step away from collecting the Temperamental Skyclaw mount.
The next step is to make your way over to Zon’Wogi, located at the Three-Falls Lookout in the Azure Span. You will be able to speak to him about the skyclaw you see sitting next to him, and offering him the various dishes will grant you the Temperamental Skyclaw mount.
