Many people wonder how to set up Pop-up Camps in Monster Hunter Wilds because these things are very handy. When used properly, they grant you a Tent that you can use for fast traveling.
Alongside travel points, the Pop-up Camp Tent will allow you to do everything you can in the Base Camp. In other words, you can change your equipment, prepare meals, organize items, and more.
Setting up your Monster Hunter Wilds Pop-up Camps is not difficult, and we are about to show you everything. Let’s learn how to unlock them, how to enable them, and how to remove the camps when you want.
Unlocking the Pop-up Camps in Monster Hunter Wilds
If you want to know how to unlock Pop-up Camps in Monster Hunter Wilds, you must reach a quest called “Forest Findings”. The latter’s Chapter 1 will require you to go to a camp close to Quematrice. Simply follow the quest, and you will unlock the option to attend these camps.
Setting up the Monster Hunter Wilds Pop-Up Camps
Now that you’ve unlocked the ability, it’s time to see how to set up your Pop-up Camps in Monster Hunter Wilds. You will need 2 things to do that:
- Camping Kit
- Guild Points
The Camping Kit should be available in your general item bar. As for the guild points, you need to spend them when you reach specific locations on the map. You should be able to identify those places by following the luminescent butterflies around them. If you open the map, you can also find these locations by looking for a wooden sign with a tent on it.
Unfortunately, finding a Pop-up Camp location does not mean you will always be able to use it. For example, you won’t be able to set up a camp if there’s already a camp there or it was destroyed. You also can’t have one if you are currently in combat with some of the monsters in the game and have reached the maximum number of Pop-up Camps available. As of now, the game will allow you to have up to 4 Pop-up Camps. Creating new ones will require you to demolish some of the old options.
Speaking of destroying the camp, if that happens, you won’t be able to use its functions until you repair it. The latter usually takes time, but players who do not want to wait can repair it right away for 400 Guild Points. Speaking of spending guild points, you will need to have at least 200 to set it up.
Removing the Pop-up Camp in Monster Hunter Wilds
If you want to know how to remove the Pop-up Campo in Monster Hunter Wilds, you just need to talk to the Purrofessional. The latter will also allow you to remove a given camp that was destroyed. Just be careful because if you do that, you won’t be able to create a new camp at this location for some time.
