Plunderstorm is back!
The temporary Battle Royale PvP mode, Plunderstorm, has returned with new rewards that can be earned by collecting Plunder in the game mode!
On January 25th, Blizzard hosted a second Plunderstorm tournament with a $50,000 prize pool. The event featured content creators from various versions of World of Warcraft, including Method representatives Scott and Fragnance, as well as Nate and RWF caster, RageDarling. The competition came down to the wire, with Gingi and Merees ultimately claiming victory. Congratulations!
Hardcore Classic adventures continue to entertain
Hardcore Classic has taken the community by storm, drawing many content creators into World of Warcraft, with the OnlyFangs guild at the center of the excitement. From Sodapoppin’s first Warrior death to Tyler1 stepping up as Guild Master, this community-driven project has been thrilling to follow.
On February 1st, the guild finally entered Onyxia’s Lair and Molten Core with a roster made up of both veteran WoW players and first time raiders. The raids claimed the lives of six characters and featured several incredibly close calls. However, the guild persevered and defeated Ragnaros. It was an unforgettable event, reaching over 300,000 concurrent viewers on Twitch across all the different OnlyFangs raiders streams!
Undermine PTR is underway
The Undermine Public Test Realm is now live, meaning raid testing for the eight Liberation of Undermine encounters has officially begun!
This goblin-themed patch will also introduce the D.R.I.V.E system, short for Dynamic and Revolutionary Improvements to Vehicular Experiences. Similar to Dynamic Flying, the D.R.I.V.E system aims to enhance mount transportation, but this time for ground mounts. By completing a special quest chain, you’ll unlock the G-99 Breakneck mount and speed through the goblin streets in style!
