If you want to experience the new Assassin’s Creed Shadows on your PC or Mac, you must ensure you meet the system requirements. Console players don’t need to worry about that, but if you are reading this, you are most likely not among them.
As expected from Ubisoft’s latest game, the Assasin’s Creed Shadows minimum requirements are slightly higher than usual. With that said, you should be able to run the game on its lower settings, even if your components are a few years old. Here is everything you need to know.

Assuming you want to run Assassin’s Creed Shadows at 1080p, 30 FPS, and use the low graphic settings, you should have the at least following:

2K Configuration Setup
Some people want to know the AC Shadows system requirements because they want a 2K setup, 60 fps, and a high graphic preset. If you are among them, you need the following things:
- OS - Win 10 or 11 (64-bit versions)
- CPU - Intel i5-11600k (3.9 GHz) or AMD Ryzen 5 5600x (3.7 GHz)
- RAM - 16 GB (on a dual-channel mode)

Those of you wishing to experience Assassin’s Creed on 2160p, 60 FPS, and high graphic preset should have at least this:

Assassin’s Creed Shadows System Requirements for Mac
If you are a Mac user and want to try Ubisoft’s latest Assassin’s Creed title and get all the trophies, you will need this:
- OS - macOS Sequoia 15.0 or higher
- CPU - M1 MAX or better
- RAM - 16 GB
- GPU - M1 MAX or better
- HDD - 130 GB
Laptop Users
More and more people game on their laptops. If you are among them and want to play AC: Shadows on your laptop, it should also meet the mentioned requirements. Laptop GPUs will also work, assuming their performance is close to the GPUs mentioned above.
