Tier Sets
The War Within Season 2 Augmentation Evoker Tier Set:
- 2 Set: Your damaging spells have a chance to hit a Jackpot!, causing an Upheveal at 100% effectiveness that does not knock enemies up. Casting Breath of Eons always hits a Jackpot!
- 4 Set: Your Upheavals have a 50% chance to grant Essence Burst. Eruptions cast with Essence Burst deal 25% increased damage.
These Set-bonuses look quite promising. They shift a portion of Augmentations overall damage to the player themself which usually feels good. Also Eruption synergizes with many parts of our kit.

Trinkets
Trinkets for Augmentation are a bit different from other “normal” dps specs. Depending on the damage profile of the classes you want to buff, different trinkets can perform better or worse. However Breath of Eons lines up well with 2 minute cooldowns so having a trinket that can support this synergy even more is usually a great fit!
Some good on use trinkets are:
Signet of the Priory - Simple stat stick with a 2 minute on use effect that buffs your highest secondary stat and also nearby allies by the same stat but a smaller number.
Soulletting Ruby - Another 2 minute on use effect trinket that rewards you with additional stats when used on a low hp target.
Following up on the second slot you want to have any trinket that benefits you with a stat boost and/or a flat damage proc.
Eye of Kezan - By far the best passive trinket when it comes to raiding. It stacks intellect and deals damage when fully charged. Note that the buff decreases out of combat. Take that into consideration when picking this trinket.
Mug’s Moxie Jug - This one is super simple. Cast spells and gain extra crit when it procs. Works completely on it’s own and doesn’t tax any brainpower.
Embellishments
There are two embellishments that stand out and should always be crafted in the following order:
- Craft a 2 handed weapon (Vagabound’s Bounding Baton, Charged Invoker) with a Darkmoon Sigil: Ascension for raiding content or Blessed Weapon Grip for Mythic+ content.
- Follow this up with a Binding of Binding for both types of content.
Honorable mention: Dawnthread Lining is in theory really strong when you can keep a high uptime on the buff. In most cases it’s not enough to compete with the two above but it’s worth a craft a few weeks into the patch.
Cyrce's Circlet
Going into 11.1 this Ring will still be very powerful for quite a long time. I highly suggest everyone to run a simulation on raidbots to find out when this ring is outperformed by other options. As a guideline other rings will usually be stronger as soon as they are mythic track rings. When using Cyrce’s Circlet you want to socket it with the following gems for any kind of content.
- Singing Thunder Citrine: Stormbringer's Runed Citrine
- Singing Sea Citrine: Fathomdweller's Runed Citrine
- Singing Wind Citrine: Legendary Skipper's Citrine
