Tier Sets
Midnight Season 2 Augmentation Evoker Tier Set Bonuses:
- (2) Set Bonus: Upheaval's cooldown is reduced by 10 sec.
- (4) Set Bonus: Upheaval magnifies your Fate Mirror effects for 8 sec, increasing the amount of damage echoed to 45%.
Tier Set Discussion:
Our tier set in season 2 does not impact your day to day gameplay much. The 4-set bonus does give us a bias towards Chronowarden this season in nearly all content. As its interaction with Fate Mirror, the additional effect of our Prescience buff, will be much more noticeable in that hero talent.

Trinkets
Trinkets for Augmentation are a bit different from other “normal” dps specs. Depending on the damage profile of the classes you want to buff, different trinkets can perform better or worse. For season two, we are ideally running two passive trinkets. However a well timed active trinket can have a lot of benefits.
On-use Trinkets
Vexhul's Everflowing Gland - The ideal on use trinket for Augmentation, it is a large damage nuke of a trinket that does more damage the lower health an enemy is. Each enemy killed in combat reduces this 3 minute cooldown by 5 seconds, so has some use in Mythic +.
Vile Vial Of Volatile Venom - Giving us an absurd amount of a random secondary stat on a 2 minute cooldown, this trinket is ideal for lining up Breath Of Eons with our allies major cooldowns.
Freightrunner's Flask - We will never say no to an on-use trinket that gives us a solid amount of critical strike.
Passive Trinkets
Fang Of Umbral Malignance - This trinket is an absolute powerhouse in Mythic +. It will deal massive amounts of damage with its stacking DoT effect, which explodes when your enemy dies. Do not equip this in single target situations whatsoever.
Mindpiercer's Sigil - Dealing a bit of split damage at your current target and giving a solid Intellect proc, this is a solid passive trinket to pick up.
Wavecaller's Seastone - This trinket gives stacking primary stats that cycles up to 6 stacks and back down to 0. This trinket comes from the new world boss that can be defeated up to mythic difficulty!
Embellishments
List and discuss the Crafted Gear and Embellishments that you recommend, such as which items are best to craft first. This can be broken down into Raiding and Mythic+ if preferred.
The most efficient combination to go for early on is crafting a 2 handed weapon (Aln'hara Cane) with a Hunter's Ritual Stone on it.
Your 2nd embellishment will be Arcanoweave Lining. Feel free to pick what is your lowest item level item slot for the biggest upgrade for this, as long as you are okay with recrafting later in the season.
As soon as you get your hands on a good myth track one handed weapon from Ula’tek, you can recraft your embellishment to either an off-hand if you need one, or another item with an Arcanoweave Lining embellishment.
Nebulous Voidcores (Bonus Rolls)
The Midnight Season 2 Bonus Rolls (Nebulous Voidcores) will be available from the start of the season as an alternative reward from your Great Vault. More sources for the bonus rolls will become available later into the Season.
Nebulous Voidcore Bonus Rolls let you target specific loot from a Raid Boss or Mythic+ Dungeon; once an item is received via Bonus Loot, that item is removed from the Bonus Loot Pool.
Below are the High Priority bonus roll target items and where they drop from:
| Source / Drop | Difficulty | Target Item |
| Ula’tek Preservation Loot Spec | Mythic/Heroic | Jan'thrazet, The Soul Fang |
| Ula’tek Preservation Loot Spec | Mythic/Heroic | Awoken Dreadfang Cuirass |
| Ula’tek Preservation Loot Spec | Mythic/Heroic | Aqirbane Reliquary |
| The Coiled Altar | Mythic | Soulslither Spaulders (Catalyst) |
| The Coiled Altar | Mythic | Cuisses Of The Uncoiled Union (Catalyst) |
| The Coiled Altar | Mythic | Silken Voodoo Drape |
| The Lost explorers | Mythic | Gebbo's Bottomless Bag |
