Crystallized Augment Runes are consumable items that grant 733 primary stat. They can be a nice buff when you feel you are close to a boss kill and need a little more just to get that kill, unfortunately the buff is removed when you die, so every wipe you need to replace it.
Obtaining Crystallized Augment Runes
They can be a bit of a pain to obtain, usually they are from Crystal Satchel of Cooperation, which can be obtained by completing dungeons when there is a shortage of a certain role, usually tanks or healers. You can also purchase them from the auction house, so obtaining them and selling them can be a great way to make a little gold once per week.
With Patch 11.1 (Season 2), Blizzard has introduced a new way to obtain Crystallized Augment Rune. Through the Gallagio Loyalty Rewards Club you can obtain Augement Runes, this begins at renown 2 when you can access the Busted Rune Dispenser, located on the top floor of the hotel inside the Liberation of Undermine Raid, near the stairs.
Interacting with the dispenser gives you around 1/10 chance to loot a single Augment Rune, once per reset. This is improved at 14 renown, where you always receive a Crystallized Augment Rune and a chance to gain up to 2 additional runes.
