Method is excited to announce the continuation of our Diablo II Resurrected speedrunning competition, the second round of Method Rush: Devil’s Toll. The tournament is set to air Sunday, October 30th at 17.00 CET!
What is the Method Rush: Devil’s Toll?
The Method Rush: Devil’s Toll is a unique Diablo II Resurrected speed running event which features eight competitors racing head to head through different acts by slaying demons of the underworld, with the sole objective of being the first player to cross the finish line. However, the format comes with a twist! In order to advance to the next act, the players are required to pay an “advancement toll”, meaning that each competitor must pay a specific amount of gold before they may proceed to the following act.
Who will be competing?
The tournament features eight of the top speed runners in the Diablo II Resurrected scene; MrLama, Sanzeau, Mekalb, Kano, LuckyLuciano, 327, Bender and Bokser. The competitors will race as fast as they can to win their share of $1500 provided by Method, plus additional contributions through crowdfunding!
Settings
- Due to major indifference in completion times, players are not allowed to compete as the Sorceress and Paladin classes.
- Each competitor must collect the predetermined amount of gold in order to proceed to the next act.
Where will the event be broadcasted?
Our unique Diablo II Resurrected event will be broadcasted on the Method Twitch channel and you’ll be accompanied by three of your favorite casters; Grant, MrHollywoot and Zeegers throughout the competition!
