This guide focuses on the Heroic Brumeran encounter in Moonglade, but also works for the normal version.

Other minis and map mechanics
Chimaera eggs periodically appear on the path Brumeran circles around. Each Egg hatches into a Chimaera after 30 seconds, unless destroyed before that.
General strategy
Brumeran is best handled with a rapid poison ambush. Brumeran circles around the map, which brings it close to your troops. With a fast ambush, you can also ignore the entire Egg mechanic.
There is gold available in the gold vein near the Meeting Stone, so you want to take the Stone quickly, and mine that gold.
Send Harpies with the poison talent towards Brumeran when it approaches the final turn towards the stone, distract Brumeran with Quilboar or Earth Elemental, and use Cheat Death to extend the lifespan of your Harpies. If you have enough gold, you can also use Execute with Bloodthirsty to give your Harpies Bloodlust and make them stack poison even faster.
Even if your initial push fails to kill Brumeran, you can sometimes reinforce from the meeting stone, for example with a poison-talent Darkspear Troll. With enough attempts to fine-tune your timings to your specific opener, the Harpies alone will get the job done though.
Some openers put pressure on your base, and you may need to defend. Find a way to use minimal gold for defense, or perhaps combine defending and sending your Harpies to attack. Note that after the Spiderlings buff of January 2025, they now explode and kill Harpies upon death thanks to their Bloated Carapace talent. This may affect some openers, but the overall effect it has on the Brumeran encounter is minor.
Sometimes Brumeran has a lot of minis with it and you have difficulty separating it from its army. You may need to bring something to clear some of the minis first, or you may get by with timing the push so that Brumeran is an early target for your minis.
