In route 1 we’ve given you a short and sweet route which is easy, fast and perfect for those who are multi-tasking. This route is ideal for players who need to maximize their farming without dedicating too much time to it.
In route 2 we’ve given the best total materials per hour for those dedicated farmers out there who want to min-max their materials per hour efficiency. This route is ideal for players who are focused on min-maxing their longer farming sessions.
Note: Route 1 is more forgiving on your skyriding vigor as it’s all on one level of flying, whereas route 2 whilst providing more total nodes per hour also requires more focus on the route so you don’t run out of skyriding vigor.

Best Mining Build for TWW
There’s lots of various mining builds for TWW, but this one is the overall best to get you set up.
- First 60 Points go into "Mining Fundamental" - this unlocks Mounted Mining.
- NEXT 10 Points go into: "Plethora of Ore" .
- NEXT 45 Points go into: "Bismuth".
- NEXT 40 Points go into finishing: "Plethora of Ore".
- NEXT 25 Points go into: "Rich Deposits".
This build focuses on getting as much bismuth ore as possible while also giving you an increased chance of getting valuable null stones.
Best Herbalism Build for TWW
There’s lots of various herbalism builds for TWW but this one is the overall best to get you set up.
- First 40 Points into: “Botony” - This unlocks mounted herbalism.
- Next 5 Points into: “Bountiful Harvests”.
- Next 40 Points into: “Fungus Forager” - Increases Null Lotus Drops from Mycobloom.
- Next 35 Points into “Bountiful Harvests”.
- From here choose which herbs to specialize on.
This build focuses on getting the increased Null Lotus drops (highly valuable) while also giving a higher chance to get good quality herbs, depending on which you choose to focus on.
Profession Equipment for Increased Materials Per Hour
Make sure before you start mining or herbalism, you go and get yourself some profession gear for drastically increased material drops and increase quality of the ore or herbs you gather. If you’ve got no profession gear, start out by buying some basic profession gear from the auction house and if you’ve already got that, then consider getting some higher quality gear crafted using crafting orders in Dornogal.
Note: To buy profession gear from the auction house simply select profession equipment and then select which of the gathering professions you are searching for. You can equip two accessories and one tool.
Profession equipment best stats: The best stats for gathering profession equipment is finesse. Aim to buy or craft tools and accessories which prioritize finesse, this will drastically increase the amount of materials you get from both mining and herbalism nodes.

Weaver’s Buff (Pact)
Go collect the weaver’s pact buff from the Severed Threads Quartermaster in the Weaver’s Lair within Azj-Kahet.
Note: You only need to do this on one character for it to affect your entire account’s characters for the duration of the buff.This buff can also be increased by gaining renown with the weavers.
Accept the Pact Quest and choose the Weavers as your pact to get a mega 15% Gathering Speed!

Final Tips for Farmers
Explosive Nodes: Certain nodes have an explosive feature that can drastically harm players attempting to mine them. For these nodes, the closer you are, the faster you will farm them. Get close, farm quickly, and get out even faster. The Darkmoon firewater really helps to avoid accidents when farming, providing a vital buffer against any explosions.
There are hidden nodes which can’t be seen unless you are using a Phial of Truesight, this is really worth using to increase your materials per hour. Get gold quality, it costs gold but it’s worth every coin.
