With the release of Midnight we are able to gain a new allied race in the Haranir, we were introduced to these mysterious beings in the previous expansion and now in Midnight we will get to learn more about them and be able to play them as a new allied race.
To unlock the Haranir you will need to complete the Harandar campaign and gain the achievement Allied Race: Haranir. After this you will be able to make your new Haranir character and gain the Ivory Grimlynx mount.
To complete the Harandar campaign you will need to complete all 3 of the Harandar storylines.
After finishing the campaign you will be able to pick up the quest The War Beyond the Roots from Elder Hagar who can be found outside of the Harandar Portal in Silvermoon City.

After completing the quest The War Beyond the Roots you will gain the achievement Allied Races: Haranir and will be able to create a Haranir character on the character creation screen.
What Classes Can The Haranir Use?
In total the Haranir can be 9 out of the 13 classes in the game:
- Druid
- Hunter
- Mage
- Monk
- Priest
- Rogue
- Shaman
- Warlock
- Warrior
Druid Forms and Shaman Totems: The Haranir race also gives some new unique forms for Druid and new totems for Shamans. These Druid forms feel very themed around the Harandar zone, taking on the form of creatures that resemble a lot of the zone's aesthetic.

Haranir Racial Abilities
The Haranir Race also have 5 unique racial traits that they can use:
- Thorn Bloom - A 3 minute cooldown that can be used to harm enemies and heal allies in a 10 yard range.
- One With Nature - A Passive ability that increases your Herbalism and Finesse skills.
- Subterranean Predator - A passive ability that grants you bonus damage and experience for defeating Aberrations, Beasts and Elementals.
- Rootwalking - An ability that allows you to teleport back to Harandar and allows you to travel to different world trees from their roots.
- Lash Out - A passive ability that increases your critical strike damage and healing.
Once you have decided what class you want your Haranir to be you will start your journey at level 10, working your way up to the max level and when you hit level 50 you will gain access to the Haranir Heritage Armor.
