The new Siren Isle, coming with patch 11.0.7, is a very small but densely packed island. With flying taking six weeks to unlock you will spend a long period on the ground. The terrain on the island is however less ground mount friendly than most maps, with a lot of ups and downs and enemies in the way.
Thankfully, included in the Siren Isle are a number of new ways to get around the island, which we cover in the sections below.
Key Locations on Siren Isle
In the image below we have mapped out some of the key locations on Siren Isle. These locations and events will be where you can purchase a wide range of rewards for Flame-Blessed Iron, and a source for collecting more Flame-Blessed Iron.
- Siren Isle main base camp
- The Drain Excavation event
- Shuddering Hollow Excavation event
- The Drowned Lair Excavation event
- Entrance to the Forgotten Vault
Special Transportation on Siren Isle
With the island being difficult to traverse with just a mount, Blizzard have included a couple of options to help navigate the island until we unlock flying.
Experimental Go-Pack
The Experimental Go-Pack is a consumable item which gives you access to an extra action button, for a one hour duration. Clicking the extra action button will launch you high in the air and then give you a glider for one minute. You don’t have to wait until the glider lands, instead you can reactivate the extra action button to leap onto a targeted area.
You can hold up to ten Experimental Go-Packs at one time, and they are sold by Sally Boltwrench, a vendor in the main Siren Isle camp. However, to be able to buy one you must first complete the Peak Precision Quest, which is one of the earlier quests in the zone.

Experimental Goblin Waveshredder
The Experimental Goblin Waveshredder is a vehicle you can interact with and control, it is located on the south of the Flotsam Shoal.

It moves very fast on the ground or on the water, which can be a very nice way to avoid enemies and move around the sides of the island, for example to move to the south where a lot of the rares spawn. When you click the Waveshredder you can ride it for 30 seconds before it breaks.
We hope this guide helps you navigate Siren Isle easier until you can eventually fly on the new island.
