Flame-Blessed Iron is a brand new currency introduced in Patch 11.0.7 of The War Within. It is specifically used for the vendors and events on Siren Isle. You will be rewarded with this new currency for completing and participating in a range of activities on Siren Isle, this guide breaks down those activities and how much Flame-Blessed Iron they reward.
Flame-Blessed Iron can be used to purchase Catch up Gear, Transmogs and Toys. It can also be used to contribute to island events.
How to obtain Flame-Blessed Iron
We have broken down all of the ways to obtain Flame-Blessed iron in the table below.

Note: Only the boss will reward the Flame-Blessed Iron from the Excavation Event.
Where to use Flame-Blessed Iron
You can use your Flame-Blessed Iron to either purchase items or Contribute to the Major Excavation Events.
Contributing to Excavation Events
To contribute to excavation events you simply click on the map at the center of the Siren Isle encampment.
There are 3 options and you can see the reward for each. Each contribution costs 5 Flame-Blessed Iron and it takes 30 contributions in total (across the shard you are in) to activate an event.
It's worth noting that by participating in the events you will always gain more Flame-Blessed Iron than you contributed, even if you contributed all 30 times yourself.
Catch Up Gear
