How the Storm works on Siren Isle

How the Storm works on Siren Isle

Written by Roguery - 16th December 2024

Siren Isle has a unique mechanic called Tempest, a stormy phase. In the baseline version of the island the storm is not active. You will be able to activate the Tempest, and deactivate it again, to your own choosing.

When the island is in the storm phase the island graphically changes to look more stormy. The mobs on the island change, and are mostly elite. Inside the storm there’ll be unique quests and rares to tackle. Your flying will also be unavailable, so moving around the island will be slightly more difficult.

Triggering the Storm (Tempest)

To enter the storm phase you will first need to complete the Tempest - Special Assignment quest which will be Legacy of the Vrykul, Serpent’s Wrath or Storm’s a Brewin, these will rotate once a week. Once you have completed it you can speak to Suzie Boltwrench and get her to phase you to the storm variant of Siren Isle.

In order to leave the storm all you need to do is speak to Suzie Boltwrench, who is in the exact same location.

Special Equipment

To help you deal with some of the tougher enemies in the storm, Suzie has let you use some of her equipment, each will grant you a unique special action button.

You can only have one of them active at a time, but can freely swap whenever you want.

Ricket’s Special Delivery

Ricket’s special delivery is a small rocket launcher that deals a volley of damage to targets within a targeting circle. This lasts for 1 hour or until you leave the storm.

Crawler Mines

Crawler Mines summons 2 Crawler Mines that will follow you about, detonating when they are close to enemies, and they respawn around 30 seconds after exploding. The extra action button will summon an additional crawler mine with a short duration and will chase the target you summoned it on.
