In The War Within Season 1, players will have access to a brand new rotation of Mythic+ Dungeons, and the first raid of the expansion, Nerub’ar Palace.
Within this content, players will be able to earn a new omni token, Mark of the Spelunker Supreme, as a reward for achieving Mythic+, PvP and Raiding milestones. The last boss of the raid, Queen Ansurek, also drops another type of omni token, the Web-Wrapped Curio.
Both of these tokens can be traded to a vendor for a tier item of your choosing, unlike regular tier tokens that are used directly in your bags to create the tier piece.
Note: You can only earn 1 Mark of the Spelunker Supreme, completing more than one of the achievements does NOT reward you with another. However, you can loot and trade in as many Web-Wrapped Curio tokens as you want.
Where to get the Web-Wrapped Curio
Web-Wrapped Curio drops from the final boss of the Nerub’ar Palace raid, Queen Ansurek, and the item level of the tier piece that the token can be exchanged for changes depending on the difficulty you kill the boss on.
This token is very likely to work the same as it did in the previous expansion, with multiple Omni Tokens dropping from each Queen Ansurek boss kill. These tokens can be rolled on, and traded between players in the raid.
Where to get the Mark of Spelunker Supreme
The Mark of the Spelunker Supreme is a reward from the achievement called The War Within Season 1: Spelunker Supreme, but you can only receive 1 of these tokens per character.
This achievement requires you to hit milestones in either Mythic+, PvP or to clear Heroic Nerub’ar Palace. The Mark of the Spelunker Supreme token, if earned from the raid, requires you to kill every boss on Heroic difficulty, not just the last boss.

Where to Exchange the Omni Tokens for a Tier Piece
Once you have either the Mark of the Spelunker Supreme or the Web-Wrapped Curio, they can be traded in to The War Within Season 1 token vendors, Ip’xal, Ab’xal and Kir’xal, who are located in the lower part of the City of Threads subzone in Azj-Kahet. All 3 of the vendors are standing next to each other. If you are struggling to find them, make sure that you are on the lower floor of the City of Threads.
The Token’s Respective Vendors:
- Mark of the Spelunker Supreme for PvE gear is traded with Ip’xal.
- Mark of the Spelunker Supreme for PvP gear is traded with Ab’xal.
- Web-Wrapped Curio is traded with an NPC called Kir’xal.

Important: It’s really important to buy the correct type of item for the content you intend on playing, do not mistakenly purchase PvP gear if you are intending to only do PvE content. The gear Ab’xal (PvP) sells scales in PvP, but is of a lower item level in PvE content. If you are only going to do PvP content, make sure you purchase the PvP version of the tier set item from Ab’xal, and if you are planning on doing PvE content, purchase your tier piece from Ip’xal only (PvE).
Omni Token Tier Piece Item Levels
When you trade in the Web-Wrapped Curio, the item level given is equivalent to whatever difficulty the tier token was earned on.
For the Mark of the Spelunker Supreme, the item level for PvE gear is equivalent to Heroic Nerub’ar Palace, and for PvP it is equivalent to the normal raid, but scales up when in PvP arenas or battlegrounds.
