So you've reached the point in the game where you are looking to start crafting some awesome stuff, maybe your Mk4 weapons, armor or of course the hallowed ornithopter, and you realise that you're going to need a lot of Aluminum Ore.
Fear not, for this resource is actually very easy to farm, once you have the right tools, and when you know where you are going.
First of all, in order to mine Aluminum Ore at all, you are going to need a Cutteray Mk3, which has to be crafted in the Survival Fabricator. Once you have that fabricated and equipped, you're ready to rock (sorry but great pun).

Where to Farm Aluminum Ore
The best place to go to farm Aluminum Ore in Dune Awakening is the Eastern Shield Wall. This lovely little area is stacked with Aluminum ore and the structure of the Eastern Shield Wall means you can easily run a circular route around it.
You can see the entrance to the area we'll be looking at marked on the map below (if approaching from the ground).
All of the pathways that lead through the cliffs and around the top of the cliffs contain a lot of Aluminum ore so it shouldn't take you long to fill up your inventory and bike or buggy storage.
Using A Buggy To Farm Aluminum Ore
Your final base in Hagga Basin will probably be in or around the Eastern Shield Wall, so you are definitely going to want to set up a permanent Buggy spot here.
The Buggy is an ore-farming machine in Dune Awakening and has yields 4-5x higher than the standard Cutteray, not to mention a huge storage unit to boot.
A single Buggy run around the Eastern Shield Wall can yield ~2.5k Aluminum Ore, not to mention as much Salvaged Metal or Fuel Cells as you could want!
